Genaro Solis Rivero

Genaro was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He earned a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts at Texas State University in May 2002. He worked as a graphic designer for Equilibrio in Mexico City, and in 2005 he cofounded Contrasto Group, a graphic design studio. In August 2012, he received a Master Degree in Fine Arts at Texas State University with his dissertation: Bricks for Justice, a Traveling Exhibition for International Justice Mission, a Human Rights Organization.
In May 2018, Genaro was elected to be member of the Classical Music Institute Board of Directors, a non-profit organization that provides classical music education in Bexar County.
His communication design has been featured in the discipline leading publications including: LogoLounge, LogoLounge Master Library, and Graphis. Additionally, his design work has received several awards and been honored in national and international competitions such as the American Advertising Federation, Art Directors Club of Houston, Creative Summit, Dallas Society of Visual Communications, Good50x70, Graphis, LogoLounge, and LogoLounge Master Library.
Genaro enjoys the outdoors, a good glass of wine—cabernet is his favorite—, espresso is a must and he is fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He is member of Community Bible Church, loves its Worship Ministry, and Christian contemporary music.
