A Saturday night full of awesome and joyful surprises. I shared the stage with my design team, faculty, and students from Texas State University. Good times to be a ComDes Bobcat! This time the stage was the gorgeous McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas during the 2020 Annual Addys Gala.
Texas State students did it again. They took home the Student Best of Show, one Special Judges Award, 3 Golds, 4 Silvers, and 3 Bronze Addys for their Communication Design projects. This year additionally to the 12 adjudicated Addys, Chantal Lesley—a ComDes junior—got a $1,000 Scholarship. I could not be more proud of my students. Go Bobcats!

This year, Genaro Design won a Gold Addy for the Drinks on US self-promotional and a Silver Addy for the Classical Music Institute website. A big thank you to my talented team.
